Here are 4 tips for creating healthy sleep habits for your newborn
1. 👀 Put baby down to sleep awake. Like eyes completely open. This will give them the chance to learn to fall asleep independently
2. 🗓️ Create a sleep routine for baby. Have a sleep routine for nap and nights. This will signal to baby that it's time to wind down and sleep.
3. ☀️🌙 Help your baby figure out night vs. day. Take baby out for walks and expose them to sunlight. Cap naps at 2 hours.
4. 🥱 Observe baby's sleepy cues and wake windows. This will help prevent an overtired baby.
