I’ve been busy with the new app releases but here’s a little something for you to think about as I start scheduling songwriting, production, and mixing incubators (separately) in the next few days. Keep an eye out!

I promised you a walk-through and I warned you it’ll be a little rougher around the edges :-) Now available for android in the Google play store as well as iOS in the App Store. The tool still needs to be tuned and so I hope to get feedback. I’ve raised the price since the last announcement, but it’s still below what I think the target will be. I also know this video will not get recommended outside our network because it is too long. I tried to cut it down to three minutes but there’s a lot to cover and I didn’t feel like making a carousel. I’ll do a more polished version of this as well as the synthesizer we just released when I get a little bandwidth.

Beat Kitchen Harmony Wheel is now for Android and in the App Store for iOS. Think of it like a tuner for chords. It listens to music, names the chord and tries to identify its function in the context of the song.

It includes a music theory guide, a tetrachord scale tool kit, and now includes a standard tuner and metronome with tempo detection, tap tempo, haptic feedback that you can feel (phone version only) as well as key suggestions and Camelot codes for DJs. It works entirely on device. Nothing uploaded to the cloud. It’s still in earlybird pricing. Earlybird iPhone users picked this up on the first day for one dollar. I’m steadily increasing the price as we get more people willing to test this at the low stakes price.
