The Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade is a disaster. By eliminating the constitutional right to an abortion, Republican-appointed justices are stripping millions of people across the country of the right to control their own bodies, and putting their health, safety and freedom at risk.
Inevitably, those most hurt by this decision will be low-income people and people of color. Not only that, but the ruling opens the door for the court to take away even more of our basic rights, like the right to marriage and access to contraception. I remain hopeful this is not the end of this fight. I plan to stand up and fight back and I hope you’ll join me.
