Project Restore Bedstuy

2023 was one of the bests of my life. is a pilot initiative the aims to address gun violence in Bedstuy, Brooklyn ✊🏽 We built this program with the community to reimagine what public safety looks like and it was the opportunity to display what outcomes look like without incarceration. Access and resources changes the trajectory of anyone’s life. While PRB has officially ended on the 31st, PRB will forever live in my heart and the impact we made in the community will continue. The boys will continue to thrive

2024 the work and mission continues!
While many of us have moved on to academia, organizing within new spaces, practicing stillness, new careers, and so many news beginnings that have already started and in the works, the work has now been expanded and more voices have been lifted. I’m grateful and looking forward to all of the new journeys to come 🙏🏿🙏🏿 I’m excited for what comes next and to see the mission continue.
