Ramadan is coming up and this is the month of the Qu’ran. In light of this and for the khair, we are going to start Tajweed classes for our dear sisters Starting today at 7 PM.

We are going to be following along with Germantown Masjid’s tajweed course as well as explaining in class and practicing. If you are a sister who is knowledgeable in Tajweed, join us to help others!

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 5027)

Please sign up on the interest form so that we can send reminder emails for Tajweed course directly to YOU that way you may be informed of any changes or updates. And, we are going to be offering points for coming to these meetings so you can earn your club credit through your participation! Alhamdulillah!

Please disregard the post about “no meeting tomorrow” We WILL إن شاء الله be having our first MSA meeting tomorrow after 10th period (3:40~) in room 2N6 for brothers and room 2N3 for sisters. We will first pray asr then we will be discussing what MSA is all about, our future plans and events, and basics of Islam, إن شاء الله. We sincerely apologize for the short notice and hope to see you all there! There will be snacks (limited).

Unfortunately there will be NO JUMMAH PRAYER in SCHOOL this FRIDAY NOV 22 and NOV 29 because of the half day. إن شاء الله we’ll meet for Jummah as regularly scheduled on Friday, December 6th due to next Friday being a day off. You may make your way towards Masjid Al-Farooq that is close by or to your local masjid if you have time.
