3 months ago I got a call that shook me to my core, unbelievable news… news that you were gone. It’s the last day of the year and I still refuse to believe it. You were always invincible in my eyes. You lived a hard life but you never let your struggles define you. You were a good man who always chose to see the silver lining in everything, a man who loved his family, a man who loved his friends, a man who loved to party lol We would drink and talk music for hours and that was my favorite thing about you. This photo is how I always wanna remember you, in your element.

Our stories will forever be etched in history and though it’s time to say goodbye to 2025, I’ll never forget you my friend.

Rest In Peace to my OG. My mentor. Thank you so much for the memories, for the wisdom, for everything. Words can’t explain the impact you had on my life. I love you and I miss you.

My OG followers know I’ve been rockin’ with The Weeknd for over a decade. With 𝘏𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘜𝘱 𝘛𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸, his final album under ‘The Weeknd’ persona, he delivers the perfect closing chapter to an epic story. This album has bangers but it also explores a different side of Abel; an older, more introspective version. A man who survived years of madness, realizing that he’s gained the world at a hefty cost. Years of s*x, drugs, and debauchery only lead to two paths—self-destruction or transformation. Abel chooses the latter.

This album is a poignant love letter to himself and his fans, reminding us that he’ll always be a rockstar but the difference now is that he doesn’t just live for the moment, he’s hopeful for what the future brings and how beautiful tomorrow can be… hence the album title. The final lyrics hit hard: ‘𝘏𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩. 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘦, 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦, 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘯𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦.’ Literal or metaphorical, it’s powerful. Sometimes, the desire for change is all we need to manifest it.
