A ZAKA emergency delegation has departed Israel for Venezuela following the devastating earthquakes that struck the country.

The team includes experienced engineers, search and rescue specialists, paramedics, EMTs, and emergency response professionals, equipped with rescue gear, medical supplies, and logistical support to operate in challenging disaster conditions.

Upon arrival, they will join ZAKA International Unit volunteers from across the region and work alongside local emergency services to assist with search and rescue, emergency medical care, and humanitarian relief.

Bringing Him Home 🇮🇱🕯️

Following the tragic shooting in Montreal, Canada, the body of Michel Mizrahi has been brought to Israel after days of coordinated efforts by ZAKA’s International Unit.

Working alongside Canadian authorities, the local Jewish community, and partner organizations, ZAKA volunteers helped facilitate the necessary procedures to ensure he could be laid to rest in Israel with dignity and respect.

From the moment a report is received until the final journey home, ZAKA’s International Unit remains committed to supporting families and ensuring the dignity of the deceased—wherever they may be in the world.
