"Hi everyone. This short film is two months of work and excited to finally share it, stick around for short Trunks clip at the end. My main goals were to deliver a movie like experience with decent acting performances, and to bring Dragon Ball Z–calibre action to a real-world setting. To achieve both, I made intentional changes to the characters as we know them — not for the sake of it, but because of IP restrictions and YouTube policy requirements. The characters needed to look different enough to pass processing and policy compliance while still delivering the action and performances the story deserves.
Most of the main character likenesses are based on people I know, including myself (Gohan and Goku). This is intentional — I do it to avoid accidentally using recognizable faces of people I might not be aware of, since I can't fully control what the AI might pull.
