Today is my birthday. It was a pretty great day, returning to my favorite birthday place, to sit in one of the Monet galleries and do some sketching, getting fat on GF cinnamon rolls, and buying ludicrously expensive (but very worth it) art supplies from . That’s all I wanted.

There’s a point in every painting where the noise falls away and the work becomes its own kind of quiet. I’ve been wanting a place to share that, the long stretches, the small shifts, the moments that don’t survive on fast platforms. That’s in part why I started my YouTube channel.
