Hi, I’m Venus 🤎🤍💚

I’m a petite 6-year-old cat who was found wandering the streets.

Luckily for me, the kind woman who found me took one look and realized I clearly wasn’t meant for outdoor life.

Apparently, I agreed.

The moment she opened up a carrier, I walked right inside as if I’d been waiting for my ride all along. No fuss, no arguments—I was more than happy to leave street life behind. I even enjoyed the ride, taking everything in like it was the start of a brand-new adventure.

Then I arrived at the shelter...

And, well...

I’ve started to wonder if maybe I celebrated a little too soon.

Shelters are busy places. There are lots of new sights, sounds, smells, and unfamiliar faces, and it can all be a bit overwhelming. Right now, I’m feeling a little reserved while I try to process all the excitement.

I’m not a mean cat at all—I just need a little time to settle in before I decide we’re best friends.

What I really want is a quiet home where I can take a deep breath, relax, and remember why I climbed into that carrier in the first place. I have a feeling that once I’m back in a peaceful environment, my happy-go-lucky personality will shine through again.

Venus has already decided that street life isn’t for her. Now she’s hoping someone will show her that home life is every bit as wonderful as she imagined it would be🐾✨🪐

Toad has officially found his forever home! 🐸🐾💚

Toad may have been one of the smallest puppies in the shelter, but don’t let his size fool you—this little guy came with enough enthusiasm to power an entire neighborhood.

Whether he was running around the yard, making new friends, or trying to investigate absolutely everything, Toad approached every day with endless excitement and a tail that never seemed to stop wagging.

When his new family came to meet him, it didn’t take long for everyone to realize they were the perfect match.

Now Toad gets to start the greatest adventure of all with two people who are ready for everything that comes with raising a smart, energetic Shepherd mix—from puppy classes and long walks to countless games of fetch and plenty of love along the way.

Something tells us this little guy is going to grow into an incredible dog.

Happy adoption day, Toad! 🐸💚🐾
