We at KFJC are all mourning the loss of our guiding light, Robert ‘Doc’ Pelzel. As he was rarely on the air, I imagine most listeners do not know him. But he has been our faculty advisor and station supervisor for over 45 years, and KFJC wouldn’t be what it is without him. It’s difficult to think of KFJC without him, but I guess we’re gonna have to.

Visiting family in New York for the holidays, and decided on a whim to check out a record store I’ve never been to.
