2016 2026

2016 was all about playing as many shows as possible, having a lot of fun in the sun, working lots of odd jobs and generally going head first into a world of unknown, blindly, but enthusiastically. Lots of decisions and actions were made but not all of them intentional or responsible. But it was organized chaos and beauty at its finest.

2026 is all about reintegrating what was good about 2016 except making those decisions with more intentionality and consistency. Yes, more music is to come and more shows are to come as well but this time it’s about redefining and reshaping what Citris is from a live performance aspect, embracing a new sound that has been developed for the past few years, and solidifying my independence on various levels. I’d like for 2026 to be 2016 2.0.
