Emergency Group AT WESTBETH(Western Revisions 05) MC 45m With a cover kind of stylised on BYG Records"Actuel" series, and a music that pretty muchsits somewhere between that of NorwegiansElephant9 and Red Kite and the San Franciscoband Mushroom, that Emergency Group hailfrom Brooklyn, New York wasn't so surprising,as their blend of styles does also relate to pastbands of the region like Escapade and AlienPlanetscapes. So, in all, Emergency Grouphave quite a mix of elements. The key to it all isthe tight grooving that they achieve, spurred onby the keyboards and guitar, whilst the rhythmsection twist and turn almost telepathically. Thealbum features just four tracks, the shortest ofwhich is 9-minutes long, so it's all quite a trip! I imagine that they'll be a s**t hot live band.
