A week in the life...If photos were sonic, these'd sound like circumstantial evolution. Maybe all evolution happens by adapting to circumstance, condition and chaos. Gotta consult a physicist or biologist on that. This week jumped off last Fall w guidance, unguarded wisdo, honesty. Now the recording project/ week is done, my thoughts rest on folks who, like Amina, come into our lives and give us kernels.of truth that form into something generative, moving through and beyond us. I used to be so scared. Some of y'all know the fears I'm talking about-- as performers, creatives, teachers, service workers, everyday beings trying to carve a life outta whatever we got to give. In this moment, tho', my soul dances with all the angels in the room.
