Class is in session and we’re in person again! I’m so excited to be back teaching again this fall at EBC High School and to see these students in person just warms my heart!
Day 2 and we’re talking all things tastebuds! This was one of my most favorite projects in elementary school, when we took cotton swabs and dipped them into sugar water, salt water and citrus water and experimented to see how it all tastes!
Sadly, I’m finding out more and more that the youth don’t know about their tastebuds and apparently teachers aren’t teaching this in school anymore!
Learning about our tastebuds allows us to connect better to what we eat, smell and associates in life! And when we understand the significance of our body and all it provides us, it’s like one massive map that can help us navigate better!
