Light & Sound Concerts presents David Hykes and The Harmonic Choir (http://www.harmonicworld.com/) in concert on Friday, April 19 at 8:00 PM and Sunday, April 21 at 3:00 PM at The Old Stone House in Brooklyn. These are presented in conjunction with La Foundation Présence Harmonique.

The concert, Prodigal Sounds, will be a program of Harmonic Chant, Hykes’ contemplative “music of the spheres,” combining modal sacred chant and explorations of the voice’s harmonic spectrum. These concerts celebrate the composer’s 60th birthday and the 30th anniversary of his seminal album, Hearing Solar Winds. Hykes will also feature his recently developed Harmonic Vision live video program that includes on-site imagery created totally by the voices as the concert unfolds. The concert will also include Seth Markel, Joel Bluestein and Ev Mann on percussion.
