In the wake of the devastating tragedy that took place a week ago at Marsh Landing on Sapelo Island, we, the Sapelo Strong coalition, have united to provide immediate support and long-term healing for our community. This coalition—made up of the Allen Bailey Foundation, The Sapelo Project, Hog Hammock Community Foundation, Sapelo Island Cultural and Revitalization Society (SICARS), and Save Our Legacy Ourself—stands together to address the needs of the victims, their families, and the broader community.
