With over 25 years at the helm of Georgia Recycling Coalition, Executive Director, Gloria Hardegree, announced that she will retire from her role with GRC on July 1, 2026. Please join us in congratulating Gloria on an extremely successful career, leading GRC through many eras of recycling and waste reduction in the state of Georgia.

"It’s with mixed emotions that I’ve made the decision to retire this summer. It has been challenging, rewarding and often exciting to see how our organization has evolved through the ups and downs of this industry. I’ve made so many friends and learned more than imaginable as technology and innovation have advanced beyond what we could have envisioned over 35 years! As I depart from my current role, know that I will always be supportive of and appreciative for the dedication and time so many have provided to make GRC a true coalition!"

As future leadership roles are determined, GRC’s Board of Directors remains committed to advancing the mission of the organization and managing the day-to-day operations, while building on the strong foundation established by Gloria!
