Motivating, empowering and encouraging others to grow in faith. God (Jesus Christ) will turn our brokenness to beautful masterpeaces!
🤔Do you ever under estimate your value?
Earlier this year, a woman bought a painting for $2.99 at a thrift store and sold it for nearly $3,000 when she discovered it was the work of a gifted artist.
Most of God’s children are like that. We underestimate our value and the value of the spiritual gifts God has given us.
Many times we are so focused on seeking our gifts, our calling, our purpose, we naglect to seek truely seek the Lord.
But when we shift our focus back on that intimate relationship, longing to know the Lord more deeply, then He reveals to us the gifts He has layed before us!
As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another.
1 Peter 4:10
As we serve the Lord, our gifts will emerge. But anxiety over finding our own distinctive set of spiritual gifts may keep us from today’s tasks.
So, let’s worry less about finding our gifts and spend a little more time exercising them by ministering to one another with the ability which God supplies.
Peter simply said, “ But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things, God may be glorified through Christ Jesus, to whom belong the glory in the dominion forever and ever. Amen” (1 Peter 4:7-11).
That’s something you can do today!
Love ya!
“When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and thought, “Surely the LORD’S anointed stands here before the LORD.” But the LORD said to Samuel…”
“Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart…”
“Then the LORD said (concerning David,) “Rise and anoint him; he is the one…”
“So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the LORD came upon David in power…” - 1 Samuel 16:6-13 -
God is always looking to anoint someone that He can use to accomplish great things upon the Earth for His Glory...
Outward appearance and talent mean nothing when it comes to spiritual credentials but a broken and contrite heart, one who is heartily submitted and committed mean everything…
David was anointed King because He pursued God’s Heart over God’s Power and, thus, was coined: “A Man after God’s own Heart…”
As a result, the “Spirit of the Lord came upon David in power” and He will come powerfully upon any who, like David, will humbly pursue God’s Passion over God’s Promotion.
God Doesn’t Use the Perfect. He Uses the Willing.
Moses was a stutterer.
David was an adulterer.
Rahab was a pr******te.
Peter denied Christ.
Paul was a persecutor.
And yet they all changed history.
God isn’t looking for flawless resumes. He’s looking for surrendered hearts.
Your brokenness doesn’t disqualify you. It might be the very reason God can use you. Cracks in the vessel let His light shine through. Your mess becomes your ministry. Your scars become someone else’s roadmap to healing.
Don’t wait to “have it all together” before you say yes to what God is calling you to do. He’s not asking for perfection. He’s asking for obedience.
If God can use a shepherd to slay a giant, He can use you to shake a generation.
Let Him
“Gratitude and attitude are not challenges; they are choices.”
Many of us tend to focus on the negatives—the “what ifs” and the potential for failure—and when we do, we always find them. Instead, train your mind to seek the positives in every situation. When you do, things are far more likely to turn out better.
