Street Dog Rescue AZ

Unfortunately we have no reported sightings of the traveling chow mix since Thursday morning the 11th. (See graphic for more info)

We think that this boy has potentially been wandering for several weeks. Longer than we have direct evidence of. Before December 28th it’s all guess work and vague reports of possible sightings. But there is enough to suspect a longer history than we can prove.

Which means this boy or girl has been taking care of themselves for a bit. Sometimes we see longer term street dogs get tired of the street life and finally give up and let someone contain/catch them. But that person may not be on the socials and know about all the people who would love to know this boy is safe.

Sometimes these street dogs have locations they just fly under local notice for long periods of time.

So while it’s possible he may have met a sad ending, I think it’s more likely he’s still out there taking care of himself. Just not anywhere that people who may see him, know to report seeing him. He could still be moving or he could have stopped moved and settled down. We will FOR SURE let people know if we get any information on him.

Today’s update. We think the nasty weather today kept sightings down. Everyone was holed up today. But he was seen in the Verrado community in Buckeye. I suspect we will next hear of him somewhere along the I10 corridor- possibly Buckeye, but more likely Goodyear or Avondale. We are trying more feed stations to see if he will hang out if there are resources. Also plotting where we can get cameras on the feed stations. There are never enough cameras! Please continue to report sightings and share about him in every neighborhood group/apps so people can help track him! Thank you for helping him!

He’s been traveling speedy fast and very far!

Ms Leia is coming up on her two year anniversary in rescue. She would really LOVE to be home for the holidays!!! She is looking for a home that can give her some time to warm up. A home with no kids under twelve, or cats. She does well with social dogs who will give her space as she gets acclimated to her new home. She is not a fan of high energy dogs who like to be in her face. 🌲🏡🌲

Marley is hanging with his rescue’s foster while I’m out of state. And he’s doing SO good! He’s soooo ready for his forever home! Please share so he can find his peeps! 🥰
