The Rescue Church - Sumner

Welcome!

We have been rescued by God's love and grace. In response to that, The Rescue Church gathers on Sundays at 10:00am to sing praises to Jesus, learn about Jesus through scripture, and connect with others in our community. We meet at Maple Lawn Elementary in Sumner, WA. Our vision for The Rescue Church is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ genuinely so that hearts of unbelievers would come to a relationship with Him. As the body of Christ, we are also called - as Jesus's hands and feet - to serve Sumner and its surrounding cities. We have a longing to spread God’s love by continuing to plant churches in Washington and around the world.

Among the heaps of guidance the Bible provides, we are particularly guided by this: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20
