Please join us and for our 6th annual memorial blood drive in honor of Ali. We will be at the AWC gym from 9am-4pm on 2/28. Appointments are recommended, but walk ins are always welcome! As always, we will have basket raffles as well, and pizza around lunchtime. We hope to see you there 🩷

The Alison Rose Foundation has announced that it will be donating $85,000 to organizations that support amniotic fluid embolism (AFE) research and awareness and provide medical care for mothers and babies. Our 2025 recipients include the Amniotic Fluid Embolism (AFE) Foundation, Mercy Hospital, and F.F. Thompson Hospital.

With the announcement, the Alison Rose Foundation eclipses the $340,000 mark in total giving since its inception to organizations that support maternal and baby health and direct support to families impacted by AFEs.

We want to thank our many supporters for donating, volunteering, and helping to raise awareness of our cause. You have made it possible for us to honor Ali’s life by continuing to make significant contributions such as these in our fight to end AFE and support the health of mothers and babies.

Thank you to all of you who attended this very special event!!! 80 units of blood collected, which will help save up to 240 lives in WNY 🩷. On top of that, your donations and participation in our raffles helped us raise $3,700 to further our mission of supporting AFE research and medical care for mothers and children.

Our annual Blood Drive and Fundraiser with Connect Life is coming up on Saturday, February 22nd!!!! This year, we will be hosting this special event at the gym at Daemen University. Blood transfusions are a critical part of treatment for amniotic fluid embolisms and other maternal/fetal health emergencies, and we feel fortunate to once again have the opportunity to collect blood donations in Ali’s honor 💕.
