Did you know International Pigeon Appreciation Day was established in honor of a famous pigeon named Cher Ami who delivered messages during World War I ?

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to celebrate pigeons this last weekend! We had books on display, pin & magnet making, a scavenger hunt, birdy crafts, coloring, and a chance to adopt your own mini pigeon!
