Healing from anxiety and trauma is not only possible — it’s a natural unfolding that begins the moment you decide you deserve peace. Your mind and body are wired for restoration, and with the right support, they can gently release what has felt heavy, overwhelming, or stuck for far too long.

Many women carry invisible burdens: the constant hum of anxiety beneath daily responsibilities, the exhaustion of always being “on,” the weight of old wounds that still shape how safe, worthy, or connected they feel. You might find yourself overthinking, shutting down, people‑pleasing, or feeling disconnected from your own needs. These experiences are real, valid, and deeply human — and they don’t mean you’re broken. They mean you’ve been surviving.

Holistic EMDR therapy offers a path toward a different way of being — one where your nervous system feels grounded, your inner voice is kinder, and your past no longer dictates your present. As old patterns unwind, many women discover a renewed sense of confidence, emotional spaciousness, and the ability to move through life with clarity and self‑trust. This work can open the door to feeling more at home in your body, more connected in your relationships, and more aligned with the life you’ve always sensed was possible.

WHAT IS AN INTENSIVE?? EMDR Intensives offer 3 hour sessions over up to three consecutive days, creating accelerated, focused healing. This extended time lets us go deeper so you can move further—reducing overwhelm, creating a deeper connection to your authentic self, easing relationship barriers, advancing career or personal goals, starting a business, or becoming a more present, grounded parent.

Send me a message if you want to learn more, or forward to someone you love who needs to see this.

Mental health impacts us all in varying degrees and aspects of our lives, whether its our own personal struggle or that of a friend or family member. If the day-to-day struggle becomes too overwhelming, resources like offer round the clock support in the form of a daily structure, individual and group therapy, and medication.

It is common for those struggling with mental health to feel very alone in their experience, whether they have supportive people in their lives or not. Oftentimes, unfortunately many do not.

Feeling seen and supported can be a powerful and uplifting experience. This is where and her community card making program comes in.

Barbara is a friend of mine, local mixed media artist, Art Therapist, retired Artist-In-Residence at Roswell Park Cancer Hospital, member of the Buffalo Society of Artists, Mental Health advocate, peer-to-peer support, and lived experience with bipolar disorder, now in recovery and thriving!

Barbara has dedicated her own time, creativity, supportive words and presence to the founding and sister program out of NYC called Psych Ward Greeting Cards founded by Katherine Ponte . Barbara experienced first hand the strength and hope these heart felt messages and designed cards brought to those emotionally in need of positive encouragement. She was so deeply moved that she felt driven to serve those in our local community in the same way. Barbara collects hand-made cards of positive support from anyone who chooses to give, and she meets monthly with the children and adult patients of Brylin Hospital so they can choose one of those healing hand made card/message that calls to them.
