This is what collective impact looks like in a room.
On June 10, 72 parents, professionals, and advocates gathered at the Buffalo History Museum for Make a Circle, an evening of dinner, a documentary screening, and panel discussion hosted with NYAEYC and community partners. The focus: the early childhood workforce and the families they serve, right here in Western New York.
Panelists Diane Abram, Cheryl Williams-Manney, Joseph Cozzo, and Sheri Scavone shared their perspectives, moderated by Rachel Bonsignore from . One parent said she felt truly seen by what she heard. Others walked away already planning how to work together.
That’s the work Help Me Grow WNY does best, connecting people, coordinating conversations, and creating space for relationships to grow into action.

Something we’ve been building quietly is almost ready to share...
Our Endorsed Developmental Champion training has always lived in-person in the cohort room. Soon, more of your team will be able to participate in it too, on their own time.
This is the kind of feedback that keeps us doing this work.
More details coming this summer.
