Quinn's Eagle Project - Fuel the Front Line

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, our brave nurses, doctors, and first responders have been working non-stop to keep us all safe and healthy.

Today we were able to celebrate Quinn's Eagle Scout Court of Honor. We have so much gratitude to everyone who has supported Quinn through her project, and on her journey to Eagle Scout. We had scouts and families from two councils, three counties and several scout units join us this afternoon, including fifteen Eagle Scouts.
Quinn awarded her Mentor Pin to Mrs. Kendra Gaynor in recognition to all of the support she has given not only to her, but to all of the girls that have joined scouting in our area.
Congressman Higgins came out today and presented Quinn with a flag flown over the US Capitol, and read from remarks he made in front of Congress earlier this year recognizing Quinn's Eagle Scout Project.
Chief Gould from the Cheektowaga Police came out as well and presented Quinn with a commendation for meritorious achievement.
Our lunch came from Toutant and we had a beautiful Cake and cupcakes from Cake Crazy Bakery - both restaurants that Quinn worked with through her project.
We cannot thank everyone enough for all of the support received throughout this project and journey. It has been such an honor to share this journey with all of you.

I was so excited to deliver dinner from Dinosaur BBQ to my hometown Cheektowaga Police Department and Doyle Hose Company 2 today! Our Police and Fire Fighters work so hard to keep us safe every day. Thank you for all that you do for our community!
This delivery pushes us over 1000 meals to front line heroes! We have doubled our original plan and with all of the help from our local community I was able to reach my goal to get this project completed before my birthday (with 4 hours to spare!!!)

As of tomorrow, with your support we will have delivered Meals, desserts, coffee, and treats
From TEN local restaurants and bakeries...
To over EIGHT HUNDRED Front Line Heroes....
To SEVEN local Hospitals...
In Erie, Niagara, and Chautauqua Counties...
And we even got in some fire stations!
And while an Eagle Scout Project is about the community support and is not a fundraiser - we could not have gotten these front line heroes taken care of without the generous financial support of our community.
With a recent donation of over $1200 from the Employees at Harris Computer in Niagara Falls, We managed to DOUBLE our original goal of $5,000 to $10,000! This allowed us to double the amount of meals we wanted to provide and expand our project through three counties!
I have officially CLOSED fundraising for this project! We will be delivering meals from Fresh Catch Poke Co. This afternoon and evening to Sisters of Charity Hospital . We have a couple more deliveries after that and then we should go over 1000 and be done!
