Hereโs some more pictures from Easter Outreach! Our outreach team was able to connect directly with some members of our community:
In the first slide Reggie noticed a woman struggling getting across the busy intersection at Main & Utica streets and was able to lend her an arm making sure she got where she needed to go!
&
A gentleman approached our team and wanted to gain some knowledge and learn about what we we do, so Eric was able to give him the recent statistics we have regarding the decrease in fentanyl overdoses in Erie County, and also explained to him that what weโre doing is making an impact on those numbers.
We were incredibly honored to be out there with the community giving back the best way we know how on such a beautiful holiday! We were also able to hand out quite a few care packages and Narcan along the way!
If you or anyone you know is in need of Narcan or Narcan training please donโt hesitate to reach out to us at 716-259-8030.

As the weekend ends, here's a reflection of our time spent on Easter break with our youth workers. They participated in harm reduction outreach gaining knowledge on the dangers of substance use and the impact harm reduction has on our community. It was amazing seeing them come together in unity for their community.

Happy Easter from our family to yours.
He will rise again.

Weโre so please to announce our partnership with M & T Bank Charitable Foundations. Weโre grateful to also announce their generous grant in the amount of $2,500. This grant will go towards our Narcan/Fentanyl Awareness Outreach Program. Supplying our outreach team with incentives, and essentials to assist in our efforts to combat the fentanyl epidemic. Our street outreach team has boots to the ground 5 days a week in the hot spots, or heavily affected areas of the city of Buffalo personally handing out individual care packages, and educating everyone willing to listen. Our care packages consist of boxes of Narcan, Fentanyl/Xylazine testing strips, contraception, hygiene essentials, and snacks.
We are a non-profit organization that relies on the help of our community for funding to continue these efforts. We are always looking for charitable donations. You can visit our website @ www.groupministries.org for monetary donations, or contact our office 716-259-8030 to help with other essentials.
Thank you all for your continued love & support.
