Does Your Body Have A Pit Crew?
Things I can tell about you in 5 minutes on the table:
1. You are carrying way more stress than you think
2. One side of your body has been doing all the overtime
3. You have been calling “tight” something that is actually exhausted
4. Your nervous system has not fully exhaled in a while
5. You have probably been pushing through things your body has been trying to negotiate about for weeks
The body always tells the truth.
Not in a scary way. Not in a judgmental way. But in a very honest way.
Sometimes the ache is not random. Sometimes the tightness is not just from your workout. Sometimes your body is just asking for a little more support than you have been giving it.
That is why bodywork is not just about pressure. It is about paying attention.

Things we act like are normal in training culture but are actually wearing athletes down fast:
1. Pushing through pain like it is some badge of honor
2. Waiting until your body is screaming before you get work done
3. Calling constant tightness “just part of training”
4. Treating recovery like it is optional
5. Thinking if you are still performing, nothing is wrong
A lot of athletes are not dealing with a weak body. They are dealing with a body that has been asked to compensate for way too long.
Just because something is common in athletic spaces does not mean it is helping you. The random ache, the stuck feeling, the side that never loosens up, the lift that suddenly feels off, all of that counts.
Your body should be able to perform and feel good doing it.
If yours has been negotiating with you lately, book your session through the link in bio.
