This week's is Peter Hudson (Peter Hudson Artist Page) - his momentous and well-celebrated piece "Charon's Wheel " is famous in the scene. This work is an incarnation of Charon, the gondolier from Greek mythology who brought the souls of the dead across the river Styx. This zoetrope is epic - and one that defies the eyes by going in motion featuring 20 skeletons illuminated by lights.
Our this week is Refik Anadol Studio who worked with Saatchi Gallery to host Metamorphosis — Serpenti, AI Data Sculpture. This is the world’s very first multi-sensory immersive data sculpture using realtime AI and scent augmentation in collaboration with Bulgari This is a gorgeous examination into the future of creative experiences.
