Over the next couple of weeks, we will highlight some of our Summer Reading Kickoff attractions happening on June 24, and one of the biggest features is a visit from Danny Drake of the Green Dragon Circus! He'll be joined by Stuart for a 4PM show entitled: THE MOST DIFFICULT WAY TO JUGGLE - where he will perform ball, club, and random object juggling along with various balancing feats and comedy! This is a show that will be for all ages! There will be limited seating and the show will be drop in with a line forming that afternoon. Major shout out to the Friends of the Burlington Public Library for bringing this celebrated performer to our Library!!

Back by popular demand in just two weeks! On Wednesday, June 24 we are hosting a Summer Reading Kickoff Carnival, a free, all-ages event running from 2-6PM along with a party for teens later in the evening at 7PM. This festive Summer Reading celebration will feature jaw-dropping entertainment by acrobatic performer Danny Drake, along with various activities to kick off the summer reading season. Learn about this year's program, play midway style games, earn prizes, and enjoy all the Library has to offer; we hope to see you there!

Summer Reading information pickup will be available from 2-6PM.

The Kickoff Carnival will offer a variety of activities and entertainment throughout the afternoon/evening:

🏆Carnival Games - 2PM-6PM

🤡Clown Visit - 2PM-4PM - Meet some wonderful guests from the Aleppo Clowns - one of the biggest hits from last year generously returning again!

🔥Temporary Tattoo Station - 2PM-6PM

🍕🍪Snack Stand & Free Pizza Station - Food arrives around 2PM and will run until 4PM (or we run out!). Pizza, cookies, and beverages generously donated by Wegmans!

🐉Acrobatics Show with Danny Drake - 4-5PM - An all ages performance! (Line will form outside the building to the Meeting Room door starting at 3:45. Entry is first-come, first-serve, until we reach the room capacity. No tickets or pre-registration required - just show up!)

🌟Teen SRP Party - 7PM-8PM

This community event is funded by the Friends of the Burlington Public Library and Wegmans, offering something for every age group from children's games and activities to adult programming.

🎲😀Thank you to the roughly forty patrons who came out to enjoy an afternoon of board gaming this past Saturday as we celebrated our third annual International Tabletop Game Day celebration! Two floors of gaming, everything from simple to complex games hitting the table, and a lot of chocolate trophy winners! Burlington definitely loves their tabletop fun!
