Exciting news from our Computer Science & Innovation program! 📑💡
A research paper co-authored by four Champlain students and Assistant Professor Vikas Thammanna Gowda was recently accepted for publication in the Advances in Science, Technology, and Engineering Systems Journal (ASTESJ).
The paper introduces MASS, a machine learning framework that helps keep healthcare data private and useful, built from a classroom assignment into published research.

This spring, Champlain students and faculty traveled to Washington D.C. for the Women in CyberSecurity - WiCyS Conference and came back with new connections, new confidence, and a bigger picture of what a cybersecurity career can look like.
As Professor Melanie Brown put it: "It's a wonderful way for our students to start seeing the bigger community they have of women who are also interested in cybersecurity and digital forensics."
