City of Burlington-Haw River Interceptor, Burlington, NC. AWCK has prepared construction drawings and bid documents to replace approximately 8,300 linear feet of 42”, 36” and 24” sanitary sewer mains. The project begins along the Haw River near the southern end of Riverside Drive, and is adjacent to the Haw River and Servis Creek, and terminates west of Graham Hopedale Road. The project involves 2 major aerial stream crossings and several minor crossings, project by-pass pumping, erosion control plans and permitting. Existing services and main connections will be reconnected to proposed manholes. The project has included bypass pumping of 24MGD while work is underway. In addition AWCK has assisted owner with easement mapping, easement acquisition services, and contract administration. Project Manager/Engineer: Josh Johnson, P.E.
