On Tuesday, July 8th- coming all the way from LA, sketch comedy group, Dead Kevin graces our stage with their ridiculous antics and standup comedy. The night will be hosted and supported by some of Burlington's funniest folks, Carmen Lagala and Phil Davidson as well as longtime ArtsRiot friend and native Vermonter Ben Blanchard.

Hi everybody. What's shaking? Wanted to fill you in the details of what's going to be a wild night on Halloween at Half & Half at Half Lounge! Phil Davidson & Carmen Lagala will be hosting "Schtick or Treat- Vermont Edition." Schtick or Treat was started a couple years ago by some comics in New York as a way to dress up and still have a fun night of comedy on Halloween. Here's the deal, we're asking all comics to dress up as a famous comic and get up and do no more than 4 mins as that comic. Essentially you're "covering" a famous comic. It could be your favorite comic, someone you hate, whatever, just make sure they're well known. We'll have a cash prize for the best performer/costume. Show will start at 8. We're limiting it to 20 performers, so email us at [email protected] to secure a spot. This is open to anyone who wants to give it a try. Let us know who you're doing so we can print out programs prior to the show & promote this thing. It's gonna be a blast so get on it and start working on someone else's act! (8pm at 136 Church Street on Oct 31st)!
