Where do I begin with this! Phelsuma are all wrong, L. williamsi was hatched next to a nuclear power plant, Tokay is mini, P. picta looks great! Crested has a leopard gecko tail! ‼️

Today was a special day here! This gecko, a Hemidactylus garnotii, the Indo-Pacific House gecko, native to South Asia and nearby parts, is a parthenogenic gecko (self reproduces). I collected a hatchling today which is a descendant of a gecko given to me by Skip Kruse, a fellow member of the Northern California Herpetogical in Davis, who collected it in Florida I believe, about 25-30 years ago! Amazing how great they look, generation after generation!

Last night I was cruising the leachies to see what they were up to and I saw my 3rd generation GTBX all fired up and showing off his pinks and greens! He is now three years old.
