Our Story
Low Tech is an audio recording studio in downtown Burlington, Vermont. We have been in operation since 1989. Located in the historic Main Street Landing building (a beautifully renovated train station) at One Main Street, Suite 309, this studio is convenient and easily accessed.
With beautiful western views overlooking Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains, this setting is ideal for anyone seeking a comfortable and relaxed recording experience. Regional bands and national recording artists have enjoyed the low stress environment provided by engineer, Gus Ziesing. His expertise in recording, mixing and mastering extends over twenty years in the business. Gus is also a performing musician and is sensitive to the needs of performers. Using Digital Performer 8 as the main recording software, Gus also offers analog and mastering capabilities. When seeking expertise, experience, and patience, Low Tech Studio is a wise choice.
