I cannot even begin to explain how devastating it is to be at an auction where horses are being sold for slaughter and realize that all of the funds that were raised to save as many as possible, has been used up. Everything in your heart is screaming, you fight back tears as you look into the eyes of those that you cannot help. Those eyes looking back at you as if to say "please help me".
