Protective plywood and foam finally removed. Rock-faced limestone windowsills installed. Was snowing when I took the picture (that’s the white spots in the pictures). Ready for warmer and drier weather!!

Project I am currently working on. The stone varies in hardness from a softer sandstone to almost a granite. I have had to make almost all the corner pieces beside the windows and the door since the stone doesn’t have many natural returns that’s are full depth or are square enough to use. A lot of chisel work shaping this stone to fit together. The stones on the pallet are corners I am making for the porch columns. And before anyone says that triangles should never be used - to wich I would mostly agree, as you can see in the last couple photos, that is how the material comes. And with as angular as this stone is, they become a necessary evil. Once this is complete and all the dust washed off, the colors of the stone will show even more. This has been a fun project to do

Thin brick veneer. Bar wall and herringbone backsplash. Will never use MSI thin brick again. Horrible material. Fought to make it look good. Corner bricks were way out of square and a different color than the flat pieces. Had to add a colored grout to the faces to get them close. Flat pieces were wavy and different sizes. Made it a pain trying to keep everything even. At least the homeowner was happy with the final product

Had to tie into an existing wall and set new caps. The original wall (built by someone else) did not provide enough room for the homeowner to get their vehicle in the garage. You can see where the asphalt has been added on to and where the new wall was built. Contractor will be pressure washing and sealing the new asphalt so it all looks the same.
