There’s nothing better than a hearty bowl of minestrone for a satisfying vegetarian meal. This healthy, vegetable soup is less than 135 calories per serving and can be made in about an hour.

Remembering Liz, who served our hospital for 13 years of her nursing career and 11 years as a volunteer following her retirement. Services were held Saturday, January 24. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, who honored Liz’s legacy and our volunteers by designating the BCMH Auxiliary for memorial donations.
Liz will be deeply missed.

My Community, My Hospital
Bates County Memorial Hospital (BCMH), located in Butler, Missouri, is a team of more than 300 staff members offering compassionate care to Bates County and surrounding communities. Since we opened our doors in 1960, our facilities and services have expanded to meet the needs of our patients to fulfill our ultimate mission: To continuously improve the health of the people of our community.
Today, BCMH is a 60-bed acute-care facility with four rural health clinics in Adrian, Butler and Rich Hill. We are one of the few hospitals in Missouri to operate and fund a 24/7 Ambulance service with no tax support. We remain independent and autonomous, and as the largest employer in Bates County we are proud of the financial strength we contribute to our area.
