In a tight spot? No problem.
Rigged some huge chunks down with the ropes and pulleys but this is about as far as we could go without dismantling the deck.
Planning on getting the rest of this out with a crane soon. It is about 36-38” across from the deck up to about 8ft.
Just a 1ft cross cut of this log would weigh about 400 lbs this time of year

Didn’t get a good before photo but another silver maple from a couple weeks ago over another garage.
Customer wanted the stump left high on this one for a project!

Storm damaged tree!
I believe the city got one half pushed out of the road last night. We came out and took down the other half that was leaning over the driveway and towards the house today.
Check your split trees for rot in the middle. This one had even been anchored together at one time but that didn’t save it.
