What do you think is this a good combination?

28 NOSLER

I will try and simplify everything into one spot and answer a lot of the the questions that are left up. I am not going to get into powder and powder charges I have only shot a very minimal amount of rounds and I could get somebody in a pickle. I loaded 6 rounds, and just pulled this scope off my 7 wsm and put straight on here. I shot at 100 yards exactly.
The guns is a factory Re*****on 7mm mag brand new, never fired. I only rechambered to 28 nosler nothing else was done. My thinking was I can make a custom into anything but want to test and see what things are worst case first. It was a learning experience. Even though the belt cleaned up fine visually. I would not go this direction with another one. I as of right now believe that it could limit pressures being pushed more possibly. I don't know for sure yet. But after I shot the groups I came home and loaded some more rounds and went back to try and see where the max is. It was snowing terrible so I didn't set the chrony up. I shot and found max with this gun. But also found that As I found it there is a slight line where the belt was. This the reason I would not go this route, as of what I see now. I believe with this gun 3100-3125 fps is fine with no issues. I did put on a brake and to get the finish good, we had to take the crappy coating back a ways. By no means is this a show piece, strictly for test purpose only.
Groups are with the 180 berger hybrids, and are both three shot groups.
Rifle specs are factory 26" barrel, brake and huskemaw. Nothing fancy. My reamer is throated long and coal is right at 3.665" I am thinking for sure that 3150 should be achievable with the 180 berger hybrids. But I cannot guarantee this. I would really like to get a custom barrel and retry this. I am going to test this one and make sure 3100 fps is fine or where the stop point is and then will be sold as is and as stated. If I cannot reach this goal without trouble I will take off enough barrel to have a clean chamber. I will have it recerekoted and will be re-homed. I will retry this all over again I see promise with this caliber. Thanks for all the interest.

338 Edge Improved 2480 yards or 720 yards past a mile. 01/08/2015

Ok here is the results from yesterday. To say everything went better than planned would be minimizing. I had to chain up to get to my spot and when there, the wind was swirling. So it took me 5-10 minutes just watching the winds. Once I thought I had a idea I shot the first one, and it hit just a shade low .5 moa or less and same left. I just left it, and got back on the spotting scope to wait for the light breeze to do the same mirage again. When I could see similarities, I would shoot. It took me 25 minutes to shoot three shot. FOR THE VIDEO find the orange dot as a reference mark. GO 2-2.5 feet left and there is a tiny black spot, this spot is my point of aim. You really need to expand to full screen for the hits. 338 edge improved with 300 grain berger at 2955 fps. Topped with nightforce g7 scope. This is a rifle that I built Hunt the Distance is my company. I am on Facebook as well and have another page on here Long range hunter. Go and give me a like if you would. Thanks for all the interest.

Bullet flight time was 4.273 seconds. And had to use 94.8 moa.
