Meet the Team: Dr. Stephen Bell:
We are honored to welcome Dr. Stephen Bell, PhD, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, to Christian Perspective Counseling.
With more than 20 years of experience serving marriages, families, and family-owned businesses, Dr. Bell brings deep wisdom, compassion, and a heart for helping relationships heal and thrive. He has walked alongside countless couples through difficult seasons, offering hope, clarity, and practical tools for restoration.
Alongside his wife, Tracy, Dr. Bell has spent more than 15 years leading couples through a powerful intensive marriage therapy framework designed to help couples move beyond surface-level conversations and into meaningful breakthrough.
Intensive Marriage Therapy offers couples the opportunity to step away from the usual pace of life and focus deeply on healing. Whether through extended marital sessions or marriage intensive weekends, this format creates intentional space to work through conflict, rebuild connection, and move toward restoration with greater momentum and hope.
At CPC, we believe strong communities are built on healthy families — and we are so grateful to partner with Dr. Bell in this important work. 🤍
If you are interested in scheduling, please be sure to mention that you are interested in a marriage intensive when requesting your appointment.

From a mental health perspective, missing one workout doesn’t undo progress—but rigid, all-or-nothing thinking often does. Research shows that when exercise is viewed as only “successful” if it meets strict standards, one disruption can lead to complete disengagement. Sustainable change comes from flexibility, self-compassion, and adaptive coping. Even brief or modified movement supports mood regulation, self-efficacy, and routine. Progress is built by showing up in imperfect ways, not by being flawless.
Why Missing One Workout Can Derail an Exercise Plan Researchers found that all-or-nothing thinking can threaten exercise plans, especially among people who genuinely want to stay active.

In mental health care, I’m reminded every day that now is all we truly have. Each conversation, each session, each quiet pause with a patient is a moment that will never be repeated in the same way.
It’s easy to rush through life on autopilot—carrying worry, pressure, and obligations—until we forget that every day we wake up is a gift, and every interaction deserves our full presence.
Healing doesn’t always come from having all the answers. Sometimes it comes from slowing down, being fully here, and honoring the uniqueness of this moment.
Because the real tragedy isn’t that life ends—it’s never truly living while we’re here.
Today, take a breath. Be present. This moment matters.

Nature has a way of reminding us: it’s okay to pause.
It’s okay to rest.
It’s okay to take a breath and start again.
Your mental health journey doesn’t need to be rushed. One calm moment at a time is enough.
Just as calm water reflects the sky, peaceful moments help us reflect on what we need to heal.
Mental health isn’t about “staying strong.” It’s about finding spaces where your mind can breathe, settle, and soften. You deserve moments of peace, and you deserve support on the days when peace feels far away.

Mental health care should feel safe, respectful, and grounded in evidence-based practice.
As a PMHNP, my priority is to listen first, understand your concerns, and create a personalized treatment plan that supports long-term stability and well-being.
I know starting treatment can feel overwhelming, but you won’t navigate it alone. Together, we’ll explore your symptoms, clarify your goals, and choose interventions that align with your unique needs and lived experiences.
My commitment is to provide compassionate, consistent, and patient-centered care that honors your voice every step of the way.
Your comfort, trust, and growth matter.

💙 Post: Hope for Treatment-Resistant Depression
💭 If you’ve tried multiple antidepressants without relief, you’re not alone.
Up to 1 in 3 people with depression don’t respond fully to traditional medications.
💉 Spravato® (esketamine) is a breakthrough, FDA-approved nasal spray used alongside an oral antidepressant for treatment-resistant depression (TRD).
It works differently than traditional antidepressants — targeting glutamate, a brain chemical involved in mood regulation. Many patients report improved mood, motivation, and energy within weeks.
✨ What to expect:
Administered in a certified medical setting
Monitored by trained professionals
Sessions typically last 2 hours
Combined with ongoing therapy and medication management
Spravato isn’t for everyone, but for some, it’s been life-changing.
If you or someone you know has struggled to find relief, talk to a mental health provider to learn more. 💙
