🚑❤️ LIFE-SAVING TRAINING IN ACTION ❤️🚑

The Cabot Fire Department recently joined MEMS and school personnel for the 2026 Arkansas Secondary School Interprofessional Sports Emergency Care Course, practicing how first responders handle a cardiac arrest emergency during a school athletic event.

The hands-on exercise walked participants through every step of the response process — from the first actions taken by school staff to advanced care provided by firefighters and EMS crews.

These important training opportunities help ensure students, athletes, coaches, and spectators receive the fastest and most effective care possible during real emergencies.

Thank you to the Cabot Fire Department, MEMS, school personnel, and all first responders who participated in this valuable exercise designed to keep Arkansas communities safe.

We were proud to be part of Freshman Academy Career Day today! 🚒
Our firefighters had a great time speaking with students about what it’s like to serve in the fire service—sharing real-life experiences, demonstrating equipment, and answering questions about the job. Opportunities like this help inspire the next generation and give students a closer look at careers that make a difference every day.
Thank you to the school for inviting us out and to all the students who participated and showed interest. Who knows—we may have met some future firefighters today! 🔥👨‍🚒👩‍🚒
