The built-in bookcase with planter is one of our favorite features. Had to relocate the succulents on this photo to the the yard, as the kitten was playing hockey with them, but the new, spiky aloes are holding their own. Scroll for before image. 📷

Before & After | We decided to move to LA long before the pandemic came about...the timing turned out to be pretty weird, but we’re very happy to be here, and looking forward to getting to know the city better as things improve. ⁠⁠

We ended up in a Charles Du Bois home which had some crazy plumbing and roofing issues, so many of my grand design ideas had to take a backseat to new sewer/gas lines and a new roof, among other things. We love the openness of the space and hope to get to the bedrooms and landscaping in the next few years. In the meantime, some progress has been made.⁠⁠
