Capitol Distributing began in Meridian, Idaho in 1983 with a customer base of a few dozen retailers in southwest Idaho. Today, we are the largest independent convenience store distributor in Idaho, supplying more than 400 convenience stores throughout Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah.

Our focus has been to offer outstanding service to our customers. Our philosophy of “large enough to serve, small enough to care” is demonstrated every single day by our commitment to advanced product management technologies, improvements in product handling and delivery equipment, and by our people—our most important assets.

At Capitol, we continually strive for improvement and innovation. We invest in new operations technology, warehouse expansion, warehouse automation, new freezer facilities and equipment, and improvements in refrigeration for its fleet of vehicles. Our marketing programs are always evolving to meet the changing needs of our stores - large and small. Every year, we expand and improve our food service product lines, enhance ordering technologies, host top-notch events for retailers, and develop new applications that help our retailers be more efficient..
