🐾 This week is Dog Bite Prevention Week. With nearly 90M dogs living in U.S. households, it's a good time to brush up on bite prevention and responsible dog ownership.
About 4.5 million people are bitten by dogs every year in the U.S., most of them children. Dog bite liability claims cost homeowners insurers $1.86B in 2025, with claims rising 25.6% from the year before.
