I was just asked how can I cut a tree down. Obviously they were tree lovers, and I don't mean that in a bad way. So I told them because we have to. We are on this planet because something died for us to live. Think about it. So when I cut a tree down and saw that Lumber up into boards, I want to ensure that I make something beautiful that will honor that tree that I cut down.
Keeping the spirit of that tree alive. And handing down furniture to Generations is the best way to ensure that tree stays alive.

100 Degrees in shop. I am done, done, WELL done. However, I got to circa 1940's writing desk finished. Final sanding and finish coat. I have a Bankers Lamp (green shade) that goes between letter holders.
