DaisyLu Ranch a Senior Dog Sanctuary
We rescue abandoned senior and hospice dogs from shelters, giving them love, care and a second chance.
LET’S GET COOPER ADOPTED 🩵
Cooper is a 10-year-old long-haired Chihuahua/Papillon mix who is looking for his forever home.
Sadly, Cooper’s elderly owner passed away, leaving him in need of a new family. Despite this major change in his life, Cooper has remained the sweet, gentle soul he has always been.
This handsome little guy weighs about 10-12 pounds and has so many wonderful qualities:
🐾 Friendly and affectionate
🐾 Loves to cuddle
🐾 Quiet and easygoing
🐾 Potty trained
🐾 Gets along well with other dogs
🐾 Gentle and docile personality
🐾 Enjoys relaxing and being close to his people
🐾 Fully vetted and ready for adoption
Cooper has settled in beautifully at DaisyLu Ranch, but what he really deserves is a loving home of his own where he can spend his golden years surrounded by comfort, companionship, and love.
If you’re looking for a loyal little friend who asks for very little and gives so much in return, Cooper may be the perfect match.
Located in Camarillo, CA. Please contact us if you would like to learn more about adopting Cooper.

KELLY IS BACK! ☘️🐾
Well... just for a little vacation while her adopter mom enjoys a well-deserved holiday!
Kelly has slipped right back into ranch life as if she never left. She seamlessly rejoined the pack and has even rekindled a friendship with our permanent resident, Bobby. The two have been spending their days together and enjoying each other’s company.
Kelly was rescued by DaisyLu Ranch on St. Patrick’s Day last year and went on to find her wonderful forever home. Now 12 years old, she continues to remind us just how adaptable, resilient, and loving senior dogs can be.
We always love visits from our DaisyLu Ranch alumni, and Kelly has made herself right at home once again.
P.S. The little referee supervising all the fun is 10-year-old Cooper, who is still searching for his forever home! ❤️

WELCOME CHARLIE 🩵🩵
Our newest resident at DaisyLu Ranch is 16-year-old Charlie.
Charlie’s family made the heartbreaking decision to leave him in our care due to serious family health issues. It was clear how much they love him and how difficult this decision was for them. Sometimes the kindest and most loving choice is also the hardest one.
Charlie has been with his family for nearly his entire life and is now entering a new chapter. We know there will be an adjustment period as he settles in, learns our routines, and gets to know the pack.
At 16 years old, Charlie deserves comfort, stability, and lots of love, and that is exactly what we will provide. We are honored that his family trusted DaisyLu Ranch to care for him during his golden years.
Please help us welcome Charlie to the DaisyLu Ranch family. ❤️🐾
PUMA UPDATE 🩷🩷
Puma had a follow-up visit with our vet because her ear hematoma has returned. She already underwent surgery for the hematoma a few weeks ago after a little nip from another dog caused the initial injury.
Unfortunately, Puma also suffers from a chronic ear infection that continues to cause inflammation and is likely the reason the hematoma keeps coming back. The plan now is to bring her in weekly for ear flushing and packing treatments in hopes of getting the infection under control and finally allowing the hematoma to heal for good.
Puma was rescued by DaisyLu Ranch from the shelter in March 2025. She arrived with a large tumor on her side, which was successfully removed. Further testing revealed cancerous nodules in her lungs, and we knew she would become one of our hospice residents. Despite that diagnosis, Puma continues to amaze us. She has a remarkable will to live, and even our veterinarian agrees. She remains bright, engaged, and determined to enjoy every day to the fullest.
A huge thank you to foster mom Jackie for loving Puma, caring for her, and making sure she gets to all of her appointments. It truly takes a village to care for these special senior dogs, and Puma is lucky to have such a devoted advocate by her side.
