Nurture has planned and prepared its program for the COVID-19 epidemic. As of March 13, 2020 we will remain open. All staff have undergone training specific to COVID-19. We have policies and procedures set in place for the health and safety of everyone involved. This is not something that will go away over night, so it is important that we take the matter seriously. With an understanding that life must go on, we are preparing our program for the long haul. We will remain committed to providing a safe, clean environment for our staff members and families. Only staff and enrolled children will be permitted past the front desk. No tours or outside personnel will be permitted in the building until further notice. Staff and children will have their temperature taken upon entering the facility and be permitted past the front desk only if their temperature is under 99 degrees and they are healthy. Absolutely nothing is permitted inside the center from home beside coats, hats, gloves, and clothes. Everyone will sanitize their hands upon entering the building until they are able to reach a sink where they will wash their hands. We have heavily increased cleaning and sanitation. Proper hygiene lessons and activities have been added to the coming weeks lesson plans. Nurture will do what is necessary to continue providing a safe, quality environment for families.
