Every toy donated is a small gesture with a big impact, creating moments of happiness for those who need it most.

Wayfair employees and Generus teamed up to celebrate World Mental Health Day by creating kits that help teens cope with daily stressors.

Yesterday, at a panel in New York sponsored by Project Healthy Minds, US Surgeon General Vivek H. Murthy, MD said, “…data that shows most young people are struggling with loneliness and 1 in 3 high school girls have seriously considered taking their own lives indicates we’re in a ‘mental health crisis.’”

Wayfair and Generus share concerns for challenges youth face. These kits brought together employees who share a common goal to support young people and help them develop healthy ways of coping!

Last week our creative director,Leslie Graff, led a 1,000-employee in-person social impact event for the Lucid Software team. Lucid and their employees donated over 1,250 hours! They made education & therapeutic play kits for children in under-resourced schools as well as those who have encountered adverse experiences. THANK YOU LUCID!

Last June, employees took part in an in-person volunteering experience Painting Art Journals for LGBTQIA+ Youth & Young Adults, who experience greater risks for depression, homelessness, and death by su***de. This event builds on research that sketching and journaling provide important therapeutic benefits. Many companies are using Generus to create meaningful company-wide, in-person experiences.
