A high school beginning
It’s me! It’s me! It’s Gabby Skeen!
In 2008, as part of the SkillsUSA competition in photography I was told to fix the above photo in one hour using what software knowledge I had. I had a blast because I did not know what was going to be thrown at me that day and I kicked butt. I placed 13/30 overall and I just say at least I wasn’t dead last! I know I fixed the image correctly (I did bomb the photo terminology test). Ever since then I have enjoyed repairing photos. I love history and finding out what life was like in different decades. More people should care about the family albums rotting in their attic, there is history and memories being lost! Most photos are exposed to acid in old albums, in the ink, etc. New photos should be made or they will be lost forever.
